In July 2022, MEGAPLAST Industrial – Exporting S.A. filed a lawsuit against ECOVENTI SISTEMAS, S.L. and Oxifilm S.L., on the grounds of ES2366871 (EP1989044) patent right infringement.
We believe that MEGAPLAST enjoys the exclusive rights for perforated packaging films as claimed in EP1989044, whereas third parties are prohibited from producing, selling, or offering for sale products making use of the subject matter of EP1989044 without our consent (see Art 64 (3) European Patent Convention).
